About the Role :

Yaletown Partners is looking for an ambitious and analytically minded Senior Analyst that can help us level up our internal processes improve the experience and value we add to portfolio companies and help us find and support innovative technology companies in North America.

Responsibilities include :

• Assisting in all components of the investment process including the sourcing and evaluation of potential investment opportunities contributing to investment memos and participating in the structuring negotiation and executing of transactions.
• Supporting the asset management process including quarterly portfolio reporting portfolio monitoring and additional support for our limited partners and other general daytoday administrative operations and take on key projects to improve Yaletowns operations.
• Playing an active role in generating deal flow and developing industrywide relationships. This includes managing and updating deal pipeline and maintaining accuracy of portfolio company data and other key backoffice systems (CRM etc.). Activities may also include attending conferences and trade shows networking with management teams and meeting with various industry participants.
• Performing quantitative / qualitative company and industry research and building sophisticated financial models (scenario analysis forecasts expected returns on potential investments etc.) and other models to support Yaletowns dedicated Environmental Social and Governance platform.
• Contributing to research and content creation to support the firms knowledge and insights platform and execute adhoc projects as they arise.

Qualifications :

Were looking for thoughtful and analytical candidates with a curiosity for and interest in emerging growth technology companies.

The ideal candidate will have the following :

and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;B.A. in Finance Business Economics Computer Science Data Science or technical field is preferred.

and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;Ideal candidate will have 3 years of investment banking private equity or management consulting experience plus 1 years of strategic finance experience ideally at a technology company or investment fund.

and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;Strong financial literacy / modeling and business acumen.

and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;A selfstarter who can balance multiple tasks competing priorities and the initiative to solve problems and make improvements without direction.

and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;Entrepreneurial attitude and ownership mentality (no task is too small) with strong judgment attention to detail and an analytical mind.

and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;Ability to learn fast and apply that newfound knowledge on a daily basis.
