Night Care Assistant

Pay : £12.60 p / h

Shifts : 10pm – 8am Nights -

Hours : x1 28.5 hours per week

We deliver exceptional care in our Village community styled home with households of about twelve residents. We are a committed team providing person-centred care to enrich residents’ lives and keeping them at the heart of everything we do.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Care Assistant to join our team in Belong Morris Feinmann (Didsbury) .

About the Role

As a care assistant, you will work together with other staff in the running of the household. You will aim to maintain high standards of care and service towards customers, relatives, visitors and other members of staff. You will be providing a range of personal and practical care to our residents.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate compassion, empathy and a person-centred approach to caring for older people.
• Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised.
• Able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the residents and the household.
• Provide assistance, personal care.
• Be alert to residents’ needs, health and wellbeing.
• Respect the residents’ dignity and privacy.
• Work with residents and their families to deliver tailored care to each individual.
• Assist with mealtimes and safe moving.
• Maintain accurate records for each resident.
