Job Title : Administrative Assistant
Duration : Feb. 9 / 26 to Feb. 8 / 27
Hours : Monday – Friday, 7am-4pm
Pay Rate : $24.00- $27.55 / hour + 4% vacation pay
Locations : Onsite - Thorold ON
Job Description :
- Schedule, track, and coordinate all mandatory EH&S compliance programs, technical training, OQ, and safety observations, following up with employees as needed to ensure 100% completion within required timelines.
- Process weekly payroll files and adjust time entries in Workday as required.
- Manage employee uniform and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) orders, including eligibility tracking, returns, and overall program management within budgeted allocations.
- Update tracking tools used for Work Management and Operations workload planning and scheduling.
- Maintain and communicate changes to on-call schedules; provide meeting support and participate in internal committees, teams, and initiatives (e.g., JHSC). Track action items and ensure timely follow-up.
- Code and input invoices in SAP / Markview for regional expenditures.
- Handle expense processing for Operations staff.
- Provide daily support for Workday, IT requests, and office supplies; prepare managerial reports for employee training using LMS and computer-based training systems.
- Manage email distribution lists, emergency contact lists, and internal communication channels (e.g., SharePoint and file-sharing drives).
- Serve as the primary depot contact to coordinate third-party facility access and premises repairs.
- Assist with coordinating training and system access requests for new and existing employees.
- Lead end-to-end planning for in-person and virtual events.
- Support internal committees, teams, and initiatives.
- Handle correspondence, filing, and general administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements :
