Position Description :

Reporting to the Supervisor, GIS or designate, the incumbent will be expected to carry out a variety of tasks relating to various aspects of municipal land use planning functions, such as :

• Assist GIS staff with development applications.
• Archive planning files.
• Research and analysis relating to the County Official Plan, Zoning Bylaw and Secondary Plans.
• Undertake special projects as assigned.

Qualifications :

Note :

Must be willing to work weekends, evenings and holidays.

Employment is conditional upon : attendance at all training sessions, submission of required documentation / certification, adherence to the minimum age requirements and ability to meet the employment term.

At time of application must be enrolled in a post-secondary education institution or institution of higher learning.

Applicants must submit a criminal record check (dated within the last 3 months) from their local police service for approval prior to commencing employment.

Interviews will be held in the month of February 2026.

Duration :

The duration of this contract will be approximately 4 months. Applicants are expected to fulfill the entire contract period commencing April 29, 2026, until August 28, 2026.
