Collaborating with a hardworking and high energy team, you will act as a key business partner in areas such as month end preparation, assist with internal and external reporting and team management in a workplace where excellence is recognized and rewarded.

• Review the work of the Accountant, Payroll and Benefit Administrator, Finance Clerk, and Data Analyst.

• Review all ledger reports in accounting system regularly to ensure data accuracy i.e., to ensure all invoices & staff expense claims are posted to the right accounts (budget lines), employees’ payroll costs are posted to the right programs and right accounts, and shared staff costs are allocated correctly.

• Ensure accounting month-end is closed on time and done correctly.

• Ensure timely and accurate internal and external reporting.

• Review funding agreement regularly and ensure all revenues are received according to schedules and recorded in the right accounts.

• Ensure to bill funders on time by sending out invoices according to the schedule in the grant agreement.

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts.

Train and coach the Accountant, Payroll and Benefit Administrator, Finance Clerk, and Data Analyst.

• Respond to inquiries from program managers.

• Works under supervision from the Manager, Finance
• Communicates with a wide range of audience including funders and donors, government representatives, staff, managers, volunteers, clients, partner organizations and vendors & suppliers
