The Opportunity

Our mission is to democratize access to Canadian immigration by scaling from thousands to tens of thousands of clients annually.
The Mandate
You will own the firm’s internal systems and performance infrastructure. Your primary objective is to increase throughput capacity while maintaining high standards of quality.
Architect a High‑Velocity Workflow
- Transformation: Lead the architectural shift from a “Service‑Based” operation to a “Tech‑Enabled” one.
- Automation: Work with the Technology team to integrate AI into document review and client communications, reducing file review time by more than half.
- System Design: Build logic and workflows that enable a standardized, limited‑scope product without the friction of traditional full‑service representation.
Scale the Team
- Strategic Hiring: Recruit and scale a new operational unit, hiring tech‑savvy operators capable of high‑volume file reviews.
- Training & Enablement: Design onboarding programs that train staff on the new high‑velocity methodology, clarifying the difference between traditional representation and our guided review model.
- Remote & Hybrid Management: Architect the structure for a growing distributed team, ensuring culture, accountability, and communication scale effectively with headcount.
Own the Unit Economics
- Data‑Driven Leadership: Track file velocity, error rates, and throughput per agent to maintain a profitable pricing model.
- Throughput Optimization: Operationalize a target of 20 file reviews per week per agent, up from the current baseline of ~2.
- Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous QA protocols to ensure automation and speed are supported by accountable human review and brand standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- System Thinker motivated by efficiency and problem‑solving.
- Zero‑to‑One Operator who can turn a manual, undefined process into a streamlined, scalable system.
- Solution‑Oriented: Focus on building better systems or automating tasks rather than hiring more people.
- Tech‑Native: Comfortable evaluating, rolling out, and enforcing modern SaaS tools (e.g., Clio, Metabase, RingCentral).
- Data‑Led: Rely on metrics and logs to identify bottlenecks rather than intuition.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Operations, business administration, or a related managerial role.
- Experience scaling teams (hiring, onboarding, management) during growth phases.
- Proven track record of implementing technology to solve operational challenges.
- Asset: Experience in LegalTech, EdTech, FinTech, or other high‑volume professional services environments.
