Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Field Transformer Technician based in North America. Responsibilities include performing on-site transformer maintenance, repairs, and commissioning activities. The technician will conduct expert inspections, oil sampling, and analysis, as well as troubleshoot equipment issues. Additional tasks involve coordinating with clients to ensure optimal service delivery while adhering to safety standards and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in transformer maintenance, repair, and commissioning
• Experience in oil services, including oil processing, replacement, and analysis
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and diagnostic procedures
• Knowledge of on-site inspection protocols and adherence to safety standards
• Excellent communication and client interaction skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site, field environment
• Relevant technical certifications or training in electrical, mechanical, or related fields
• Previous experience in the transformer or power equipment industry is an asset
