Oracle Database Administrator - IBM Guardium:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Oracle Database Administrator - IBM Guardium for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Oracle Database Administrator - IBM Guardium - Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be engaged in a project focusing on the installation, configuration, and support of IBM Guardium Data protection and Key management tools. This involves migrating Oracle Encryption keys from local vaults to a Central Key Management repository and ensuring robust data protection policies are in place.

Oracle Database Administrator - IBM Guardium - Responsibilities:
• Provide on-site database and system support
• Monitor the system, and act upon system and application automated alerts
• Plan and perform IBM software and database installation, configuration, upgrade, and patching
• Perform and manage IBM application backups

Oracle Database Administrator - IBM Guardium - Mandatory Skills:
• 8+ years of relevant experience
• 5+ years of recent experience as Senior Oracle DBA
• 2 years of recent experience with IBM Guardium is critical for the role
• Strong knowledge of Database Advanced Security

Oracle Database Administrator - IBM Guardium – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• 3+ years of experience with Ansible Automation experience
• 2+ years of experience with Exadata
• 2+ years of experience with MySQL
• 2+ years of Oracle OEM experience
• Previous experience with Top banks/Financial Institutions is nice to have

Oracle Database Administrator - IBM Guardium – Assignment Length:
The contract duration is 12 months.
