Job description

We're seeking a Contract Administrator with 5-10 years of experience in the architectural and interior design fields. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and project management. This is a contract position that requires a high degree of autonomy and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities :

Administer construction contracts and ensure compliance with all terms and conditions..

Review and interpret architectural and interior design drawings and specifications.

Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure work is performed in accordance with contract documents.

Manage change orders, payment applications, and other contract-related documentation.

Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and design teams.

Resolve disputes and negotiate settlements as they arise.

Maintain accurate project records and documentation.

Qualifications :

5-10 years of experience as a contract administrator, project manager, or similar role within the architectural or interior design industry.

Proven ability to read and understand complex architectural and interior design drawings.

Strong knowledge of construction contracts, including CCDC, CCA, and other industry standards.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

A degree or diploma in a related field such as architecture, interior design, construction management, or engineering is preferred.
