Job Title: Financial Analyst (FP&A)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. This intermediate-level position offers a unique opportunity to work alongside senior managers and legal entity experts, contributing to portfolio management and project support. The role requires a flexible, adaptive mindset and a proactive approach to learning and new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior management to understand and implement updates to financial/data models.
• Perform maintenance and updates of financial models, executing monthly roll-overs to ensure accurate data ingestion.
• Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy, identify trends and variances, and prepare/update financial presentations for business review.
• Collect and process data to assist with inquiries from different business groups, performing day-to-day investigations.
• Generate reports for distribution to various business units and retrieve information from existing models and databases.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in taking on new challenges, supporting day-to-day investigations, and contributing to team objectives.

Essential Skills

• 3-5+ years of previous experience as a Financial Analyst (FP&A, Financial Modelling), preferably within financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other finance-related discipline.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLookups, and various functions.
• Financial Planning and Analysis, including forecasting, planning, and KPI tracking.
• Financial modeling expertise.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• CPA or pursuing CPA is a strong nice to have.
• Proficiency in VBA or SQL is an advantage.

Work Environment

The role operates in a hybrid work environment with 2-3 days in the office in Downtown Toronto, ON. The working hours are 9 AM to 5 PM. This position is

offering the potential for extension or conversion to a full-time offer based on performance and business needs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Toronto, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
