Job description

We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Stakeholder Relations Specialist in Toronto, Ontario. As a Stakeholder Relations Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring efficient media monitoring, and managing various internal and external events.

Responsibilities :

  • Ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders by monitoring department inboxes and responding to emails in a timely and detail oriented manner
  • Collaborate with internal experts for information and fact checking to ensure accuracy of communications
  • Manage daily media monitoring and distribute reports to staff and board of directors
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute internal and external events, including liaising with vendors, external partners, and internal speakers
  • Work closely with senior stakeholder advisors and internal subject matter experts to draft presentations and other writing projects, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency
  • Assist the Stakeholder Relations team with a variety of communication projects as required
  • Support team with media relations, budgeting, and other tasks as required
  • Ensure effective use of Microsoft Office suite, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Excel, and Outlook for various tasks
  • Exhibit superior administrative and organizational skills to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required for data management and analysis.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Suites is necessary for creating and managing documents, presentations, and databases.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook is essential for effective email and calendar management.
  • Demonstrated experience in Calendar Management is crucial for organizing and scheduling meetings and appointments.
  • Excellent Correspondence skills are necessary for maintaining relationships with stakeholders and managing all forms of communication.
  • Experience in working with C-Suite level executives is required for understanding and meeting their needs.
  • Proficiency in Documentation is crucial for maintaining records and preparing reports.
  • Experience in working with Advisory Boards is necessary for strategic planning and decision-making.
