Service Advisor

This frontline position is the cornerstone of the service department - undertaking all actions necessary to support the efficient receipt, processing and return of John Deere ag and turf equipment brought in for repair, maintenance or upgrade. This role supports two groups : the customers who need our expertise and the expert technicians who do the work.

• Receive all incoming items, accurately record the customer’s information
• Open work orders as needed and maintain control of these work orders
• Ensure that all relevant information is collected and provided to the service technicians.
• Arrange logistics for equipment into and out of the service department
• Maintain communication with customer during the work and ensure a perfect delivery of the completed job
• Pro-actively contact customers to solve problems before they happen
