Please note that for this position, SSR Mining – Seabee Gold Operation does not cover travel expenses to travel to one of our three (3) pick up points of Saskatoon, Prince Albert and La Ronge. Travel expenses will be at the cost of the candidate should you be selected for hire.

SSR Mining – Seabee Gold Operation is hiring for a Miner.

About Your New Role:

Reporting to the Supervisor, Mine Operations, the Miner, is responsible for general pump care, construction of bulk heads, adding services to the mine, fan installations, etc.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Bolting practices

• Bulkhead construction.

• Fan installations.

• Shotcreting

• Installing services

• Scoop operations

• Assist in loading longhole and development blasts

• Other required services to the underground mine.

Your Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong work ethic.

• Demonstrate a commitment to safety.

• Good communication skills.

• Positive and proactive attitude towards safety.

Your Education and Experience:

The successful candidate will have:

• One (1) year experience in an underground environment.

• Construction experience preferably underground.

About Our Working Conditions:

This position has a schedule of two (2) weeks on, two (2) weeks off at our remote camp in northern Saskatchewan, working 12-hour days with possibility of unscheduled overtime required on occasion. You will be required to fly in fly out of the site on designated days from a pick-up point in either Saskatoon, Prince Albert or La Ronge.
