QA Director

mdf commerce Inc . is an international team of approximately 650 experts who develop a broad set of SaaS solutions to optimize and accelerate commercial interactions of its B2B and B2G customers.

Working in the eprocurement sector, we are currently looking for a QA Director to join our team.

What will your main responsibilities look like?

In this role, you will be led to :

• Assures quality products and processes by establishing and enforcing quality standards and testing materials and products.
• Establishes quality and reliability standards by studying product and customer requirements with other members of management.
• Creates product quality documentation system by writing and updating quality assurance procedures.
• Maintains product quality by enforcing quality assurance policies and procedures and company requirements.
• Prepares product and process quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Completes quality assurance operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
• Develops a quality assurance staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Ensures quality by planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Manage and promote good working relationships across cross-functional teams;
• Manage and direct the quality assurance team, including QA Automation Developers, QA Managers and QA leads;
• Develop and mentor quality assurance staff by recruiting, selecting, orientating, and training employees;
• Engage in the Agile Methodology ceremonies / sprints to inform appropriate data quality and testing considerations as part of acceptance criteria;
• Collaborate with Scrum masters and Development team to ensure delivery of high-quality features;
• Own and manage test assets / environments by partnering closely with the DevOps / platform engineering team in integrating QA automation into the CI / CD pipelines and test automation;
• Implement policies and procedures for the software quality assurance function;

What elements of your professional background will be necessary and useful in this role?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related discipline or equivalent practical experience;
• 10+ years of Software Quality Assurance hands-on experience in Automation Testing, Performance and Manual Testing;
• 10 years of experience managing a quality assurance team and experience building, growing, and mentoring QA associates;
• Experience working with SDLC and Agile / Scrum methodologies;
• Expertise in performing different types of Testing : Black box, GUI, Integration, Regression, Backend, System, End-to-End and User Acceptance Testing;
• Experience of DevOps in CI / CD and working with test environments;
• Experience planning and executing end-to-end testing of multiple integrated systems;
• Experience with multiple testing methodologies to ensure functionality, reliability, performance, and security;
• Experience working with eProcurement systems.
