Veterinary Assistant

Responsibilities

• Aid in treating patients
• Assist in performing veterinary procedures
• Assist staff with animal handling, restraint, sedation & monitoring
• Assist in the preparation and use of surgical equipment and instruments
• Ensure proper cleaning and disinfection of examination and treatment areas
• Administer medications under Veterinarian / Vet Tech supervision
• Provide feeding and bathing for animals
• Answer phones
• Help clients with their pets
