What you’ll do :
The Estimator I / Service Centre Consultant is part of the Home Centre team and reports directly to the Home Center Manager
- The Estimator I / Service Centre Consultant will focus on providing outstanding service while providing a positive, professional approach and attitude.
- This individual will work cohesively with the Home Centre team by demonstrating day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co‑operative’s vision, mission, values, brand, and focus on safety.

Estimating experience an asset.Building, hardware, and construction product knowledgeAbility to prioritize and manage conflicting demands.Sound knowledge of mathematical principles is an asset.Outgoing personality with the ability to have proactive conversations with customers.Excellent sales skills.Excellent computer skills.Ability and desire to participate in weekly product knowledge training sessions.Must be availability to workdays and weekends on rotationHeavy lifting.Excellent internal and external customer service skillsHigh level of integrity and work ethic.Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writingStrong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment.Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment.Great team member who will always lead by positive example.Other duties as assigned.How to apply :
