Operations Manager

Job Description

The Operations Manager will play a key role in projects / continuous improvement initiatives that aid the success of the program. As an ambassador of the program, you will promote and contribute to the customer focused and collaborative work environment. Location : Lethbridge Alberta Shift / hours - 5 days a week – Monday to Friday, could include later hours or weekends Travel requirements - occasional travel, first month might travel a few days per week for training Physical requirements - ability to lift weight up to 10 kg (22 lbs.) Duties :

• Oversees all operations, ensuring effective management of labor, productivity, quality control, and safety measures as prescribed.
• Responsible for achieving operational cost targets and identifying opportunities for cost reduction or process improvement without compromising donor experience.
• Evaluates, plans, and ensures the allocation of trained, competent staff and adequate supplies / equipment for planned collection events.
• Manages the team effectively, including recruitment, coaching, attendance management, and disciplinary processes in accordance with the organization’s policies, local collective agreements, provincial legislation, and management principles.
• Collaborates with the business development manager to implement and support an exceptional donor experience program, enhancing donor recruitment, retention, and attendance frequency.
• Promotes continuous improvement and best practice standards, adhering to the organization’s quality management system standards and practices.
• Encourages collaboration and teamwork to facilitate open communication, effective planning, problem-solving, and the achievement of required outcomes, fostering a culture of one-team.
