Responsibilities
Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by auditing Point of Service tapes / journals to breakdown revenue, covers, waiters’ fees, tips paid out and settlements by type and cashier.Run audit reports / journals from the front office system, Point of Service and the computer.Make corrections and adjustments and handle all computer problems that might occur throughout the shift.Input into the front office system revenue / expenses / allowances to generate the daily reports such as the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant Summary.Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files and reset the system for next day operations.Implement and continued support of company programs and supervise the daily operations of the Front Desk to comply with SOPS and LSOPs, brand standards compliance, maximize revenues, to ensure an optimal level of quality service and hospitality are provided to the hotel customers.Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency situations and / or heavy hotel activity, serving as a role model for clerks and other employees. Resolve customer complications and complaints by conducting thorough research of the situation and determining the most effective solutions. Make decisions and act based on previous experience and good judgment, sometimes revising approach to accommodate unusual situations. Authorize revenue allowances to remedy problems only after other alternative solutions have been offered.Complete additional duties as assigned.Requirements
Computer literacy – HotelPMS experience an assetService oriented with an eye to supporting your internal guestsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced hotel environmentExcellent verbal & written communication skillsWillingness to learn, develop & growNumerical acuity and high attention to detailComprehensive understanding of financial data, reporting, & basic arithmetic functionsAbility to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours per shift)Professional presentationMust be willing to work overnights, holidays and weekendsAble to perform other duties as required.Qualifications
