Are you passionate about childcare and experienced in infant care? We’re a loving family (two parents, a 4-month-old, and a small, gentle dog) based in Montreal, Quebec, seeking a reliable and caring nanny to join our household, preferably ASAP.
The position is part-time (4 hours twice a week to start, with the possibility of more later), live-out, and offers a competitive hourly rate of $22 per hour.
As our nanny, you’ll be responsible for providing attentive care and creating a nurturing environment for our infant. Your duties might include feeding, engaging in age-appropriate activities, and ensuring the safety and well-being of our little one as well as occasionally helping with housework (loading / unloading the dishwasher, etc.
One or both parents will frequently be around (especially the mother). Dad is returning to work in December but will work from home most days of the week;
while mom is only going back to work in April, will be remote until September, and will be home most days.We are looking for someone who is patient, attentive, dependable, and has a genuine love for working with infants, as well as experience in childcare.
Formal training in early childhood education, developmental psychology, Montessori, etc. is a major plus. Ability to speak a language other than English is also a plus.
This is a longer-term opportunity as our child is currently 4 months old, but we would like to avoid relying on daycare until he is 2 years old.
