We are currently looking for a Safety & Compliance Coordinator to join our team, in Blumenort, MB Monday - Friday 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm.

The Role

As the Safety & Compliance Coordinator you will work as a key member of our Safety Team. This position combines internal support, administrative tasks and a great opportunity to create a positive impact! The role requires problem solving, organizational skills and a person who is dedicated to making things better.

Responsibilities include

  • Licensing of all tractors and trailers
  • Annual fleet renewals
  • Calculate licensing cost and PVT deductions
  • Assist in accident and citation follow-up and file creation
  • Fuel administration including quarterly fuel tax returns, IFTA decals and fuel cards
  • Ensure completion of driver files and approve new hire driver files ensuring DOT compliance
  • Administer permits (annual / trip / overweight / TPIF / LCV, etc.)
  • Administer fleet drug and alcohol testing program
  • Facilitate portions of new driver orientation focused on Policies, Procedures and Safety (as required)
  • Run quarterly driver bonus reports based on established criteria
  • Skills and Experience

  • Previous administrative experience in the transportation industry is an asset
  • Working knowledge of US and Canadian Hours of Service is an asset
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Well developed time management skills with the strong attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Desire to make things better, striving for continuous improvement
  • Strong problem-solving skills
