Bilingual Dispatcher

Position Summary

Manitoulin Transport is currently seeking a Bilingual Dispatcher (French / English) to join our Central Disaptch operations team. This position plays a critical role in supporting Central Dispatch in coordinating the movement of freight to service terminals in the most efficient and cost-effective manner helping ensure network fluidity service standards and on-time performance.

This is a fast-paced operational role requiring flexibility to work rotating shifts including days nights weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Central Dispatch in executing and coordinating freight movement across the network to service terminals efficiently
• Consistently answer phones and support driver needs including :

Hook-up information

Plan trips

Manifest Trailers

Qualifications :

Knowledge of Dangerous Goods regulations Hours of Service legislation and familiarity with the Manitoulin network and equipment would be considered an asset but is not required.

Full training will be provided.
