Our valued crown corporation client is seeking a Senior Security Architect to identify security risks and control gaps for new technologies being implemented within a Platforms & Connectivity portfolio!
Initial 1 Year Contract with strong possibility of extension to a maximum total term of 3 years - minimum 1-2 days / month required on-site in Ottawa, ON.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct cyber risk assessments on new and existing technical solutions to identify security risks and control gaps
- Work with the technology stakeholders to explain how an assessment is performed and what information is required as part of an architecture to complete an assessment.
- Review architectures / proposed technology designs to provide feedback to the technology stakeholders.
- Document the cyber security design assessment of the proposed solution
- Collaborate with security and technical teams to ensure security requirements and risks, including potential mitigations, are understood.
- Follow up on the cyber risk assessment to its completion (end to end process).
- Develop and provide guidance on repeatable security solutions (i.e., patterns).
- Participate in various informational sessions as needed.
Must-Have-Skills :
5+ years of demonstrated experience in Cyber SecurityDemonstrated experience working in the field of Cyber Security Architecture.Experience with risk management and security control methodologies and frameworks (e.g., NIST -53 , NIST CSF, ISO , SOC 2).Demonstrated knowledge of Cloud Architecture and Operations ( Azure ).Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM.Demonstrated knowledge of architecting and implementing technical solutions in an enterprise environment.Nice-to-Have Skills
Demonstrated knowledge of application security (SDLC)
