Our valued public sector client requires a  Reliability cleated Senior Java Developer (Spring) to assist with enhancements to a web based Java application. The database provides a national system which receives data on sensitive information, provides reporting and analytical tools and provides an extract which can be used to post information to a public website. It provides consistent and immediate availability of accurate, timely, complete and useful information needed to further sensitive cases.

Responsibilities :

• Provide necessary changes to the application code based on requirements provided by the Policy Centre.
• Make necessary schema changes, and data changes to the application’s Oracle 19C backend database based on requirements provided by the Policy Centre.
• Testing of code changes, configuration changes and database scripts.
• Creation of documentation of the code changes, configuration changes and database migration scripts.
• Provide technical advice and recommendation to management.
