Job Description

The Director, Finance & Corporate Platforms is at the forefront of optimizing operations, harnessing the full spectrum of system capabilities, and extending them to tailor solutions that elevate our dynamic business landscape. This role contributes to the overall success of Finance, Tax, and Human Resource systems by leading a team of Application Engineers who design and create Enterprise solutions, bridging the gap between Technology and our Business Partners. You must demonstrate advanced knowledge and ability to understand requirements and implement solutions that align with best practices in all areas of finance and HCM. As a champion in both system implementations and financial processes, you will prove the value-add technology brings to the business. You are responsible for the execution of all aspects of requirements delivery, this includes planning, elicitation, analysis, documentation, functional design, deployment, and evaluation. Additionally, you recruit, coach and mentor a team of experts that are considered true business partners throughout the organization.

What You'll Do :

  • Lead and manage the software innovation team that builds and maintains technology platforms for all functional areas related to corporate processes.
  • Enable a constant delivery pace achieved through continuous attention to technical excellence and good design, with extensive use of automation.
  • Drive refactoring of legacy systems to help enable decoupling of modernize the software architecture.
  • Ensure high quality of developed technical solutions; build the simplest possible solution that fulfills functional and quality requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their business strategies and collaborate to implement business processes and systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system capabilities that enhance the user experience and drive efficiencies in the business.
  • Maintain expert level knowledge of the ERP system, D365, Workday, and other integrated systems.
  • Provide strong leadership during requirements elicitation and oversee design to ensure solutions meet or exceed expectations.
  • Evaluate and measure solution performance to feed the continuous improvement process.
  • Resolve system problems and serve as an escalation path for production break-fix issues.
  • Mentor team members with respect to best practices and standards, and develop their system knowledge.

Qualifications

Let's Talk About You :

  • 10+ years’ experience as a technology lead, implementing financial solutions
  • 5+ years’ experience managing a team and leading the design efforts for complex projects
  • University Degree in relevant discipline such as Business, Information Technology, Management, or Information Systems, or equivalent of experience
  • Experience working with agile / scrum methodologies
  • Minimum of 3 full system implementations D365 or other financial / ERP systems
  • 5+ years experience in D365 Finance & Operations and certification is required
  • Financial designation or certification is preferred
  • Superior commerce technology / platform architecture knowledge pertaining to ERP integrations.
  • Intermediate to Advanced understanding of Power Platform, Power App, and Power Automate applications.
  • Cloud, networks, server, IT security, and programming.
  • Specialist in at least one programming language (, Python or Java).
  • Comprehend and compose complex SQL and M Queries.
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding and experience in headless commerce engine, business process, and unified data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and presentation skills.
