physiotherapist position in South Burnaby Highgate area.

We are looking for a Physiotherapist to join our team. The clinic is open 7 days a week and there are varying shift hours available.

• There is direct billing available to patients. We bill most private insurers and have access to MSP, ICBC and WorkSafe.
• There are on-site laundry facilities.

• There is currently a brand-new Shockwave machine with online training available. We are open to obtaining other modalities as preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside other allied healthcare providers on a cross-referral basis and collaborate on plans of management.
• Perform assessments and provide therapeutic services to patients with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment progress.
• Stay up to date with the latest research and techniques in physiotherapy.

Qualifications:

• Current full registration (in good standing) with the College of Physical Therapists of BC and have adequate liability insurance.

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong practical skills that can vary with each patient.
• Strong time-management skills.
• Ability to operate various software/equipment related to the job.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We are situated under a gym and there is a family-oriented influence for pregnancy and pediatrics at the clinic. An interest or experience in sports injury, pregnancy, pelvic floor specialty and pediatric therapy is preferred but is not necessary for application.
