The Faculty of Kinesiology invites applications for sessional instructors to teach the courses listed below in the 2026 Spring and Summer terms (pending funding and sufficient enrolments). The Spring 2026 term runs from May 4 to June 15, followed by the Registrar final exam period, which runs June 17‑20. The Summer 2026 term runs June 29 to August 12, followed by the Registrar final exam period, which runs August 14‑18. Please see the academic schedule for additional important dates and deadlines.
Courses of Instruction
KNES 201 : Activity : Essence & Experience (Spring 2026)
Participate in various activities and movement patterns and the study of the fundamental factors that influence the activities we choose and the way we move. This posting is for both the lecture and activity components of the course, both of which are instructed in‑person.

KNES 244 : Introduction to the Sociology of Movement Cultures (Spring 2026)
An introduction to sociological perspectives on movement cultures (e.g., sport, dance, physical education, exercise and fitness), with a particular focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion. This posting is for both the lecture and lab components of the course, both of which are online asynchronous.

KNES 263 Quantitative Biomechanics (Spring 2026)
Basic principles of force system analysis, impulse‑momentum, work‑energy and particle kinematics applied to biological structures, including extensive mathematical analyses. This posting is for both the lecture and tutorial components of the course, both of which are online asynchronous.
