Blue Prism Chorus is moving to the cloud! We are seeking a passionate developer who is eager to revolutionize Chorus and transform it from the solid product it been for years into a modernized product built for future longevity. Those applying will :
Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and business requirementsProvide code that enhances software as needed with little direction from othersSupport, maintain, and document software functionality and practicesPrototype, refine, test and debug programs as neededParticipate in design meetings and analyze user needs to determine function requirementsImplement designs by utilizing development languages and tools per design specificationsDevelop and execute unit testingProvide input into code specification developmentTrouble-shoot problems or issues of moderate scope through analysis of multiple data sets or factorsRecognize and consider dependencies in planning and decision makingApply industry best practices for user software developmentConduct performance tuning to ensure code is scalable and meets performance requirementsCreate and provide input to code specification developmentIdentify process improvements and system enhancements and recommend solutionsTrouble-shoot complex problems or issues through in-depth analysis of variable data sets and factorsWhat You Will Bring :
Computer Science / Engineer related Bachelor’s degree; or Master’s degree (recent graduate); or 5 years of equivalent work-related experienceExperience with source code management systems (e.g. Git)Experience with Java, React, .NET or other programing languages.Developing and maintaining SaaS applicationsWeb, GraphQL, RESTful Services Development experienceSQL and NoSQL databases.A passion for continuous learning as well as the ability to learn quickly and apply new skillsAble to work with a global teamThorough knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle methodologiesAdheres to software development standards, processes and best practice.Good verbal and written communication (English)Takes accountability and ownership of deliverables.Effective problem solvingAbility to foster an environment that encourages teamwork and collaborationPassion for continuous learningFocused on providing high quality deliverableKnowledge of Financial Services experience also a plusWe will work with applicants requesting accommodation at any stage of this process.
