We are hiring a Nursing Supervisor to support our Peel region including Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon and Bolton. The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for facilitating the clinical, educational and professional development of our Visiting and Clinic Nurses. This position involves an on-call rotation.

Job Description

• Provide clinical nurse leadership and direction, ensuring patient care meets professional nursing standards and organizational policies
• Manage staffing levels, conduct performance evaluations, and participate in orientation of new staff
• Perform supervisory visits and case reviews to maintain quality of care and appropriate service frequency
• Collaborate with patients and nursing team to identify health care needs, strengths, and goals
• Act as a professional role model and mentor, demonstrating clinical expertise and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Current CNO registration as Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing, degree preferred
• Valid G driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Minimum of three (3) years of recent experience with progressive responsibilities as a Nursing Supervisor/Manager, preferably in a community setting
• Solid knowledge of the principles, practices, and methods of community nursing and service delivery to patients
• Current CPR certification
