Role Description

The Account Manager is responsible for expanding accounts and managing projects from start to finish. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet those needs. The Account Manager will create and implement sales strategies, provide timely and thorough budgets and quotes, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. We will expect the candidate to be a reliable professional able to achieve a balance between client satisfaction and a results-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales cycle from client introduction through to securing a furniture order and effective installation
  • Evaluate client needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements
  • Understand our product offerings and the technical aspects of contract furniture
  • Provide showroom tours with preferred vendors
  • Develop pricing & presentation of these products to prospective clients
  • Manage project through order entry to successful installation
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase account growth
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the project to drive long-term client retention
  • Remain in frequent contact with clients to understand their changing and future needs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, team, and our aligned vendors

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sales Account Executive, or in other sales / customer service-related roles
  • Enthusiastic, passionate, and eager to learn
  • Business Acumen
  • Excellent communication / presentation skills and ability to build relationships
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite, and related software products
  • College or University degree
  • Knowledge of the GTA office furniture market and office furniture sales is an asset but not required
  • Valid Drivers License and Vehicle
  • Please note the first round of interviews will commence mid-late January
