Our client, a family owned landscaping business is searching for a skilled 3rd or 4th year HD Mechanic Apprentice to assist in routine maintenance and repair.

Agilus is recruiting for a Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprentice - 3rd Or 4th Year. in the Landscaping Industry in Sherwood Park, Alberta.

This role is a full time, permanent position in Sherwood Park, offering the ability to be home each night. Our client is searching for a 3rd / 4th year apprentice HD Mechanic / HET for their busy shop to assist with repairs, maintenance and other duties.

A typical day :

• Test all heavy equipment and perform preventative maintenance. (Inspecting equipment for faults and malfunctions)
• Diagnose defects in vehicles, light and heavy-duty equipment
• Inspect, repair and adjust gasoline and diesel-powered units
• Perform mechanical repairs on equipment in the shop and road calls when required
• Installation of new and add-on equipment as well as testing repaired equipment for proper performance
