Director of Treasury - Downtown

Our client, currently in a period of expansion, is seeking a Director of Treasury to join their team on a permanent basis.In this newly created position, you will work within a large, dynamic team and oversee cash transactions for the Canadian divisions.Key Responsibilities:- Perform complex financial analyses and prepare detailed reports- Manage cash flow and banking transactions- Investigate irregularities and record appropriate journal entries- Support the VP of Treasury in daily operations and special projects- Negotiate banking and credit card agreements- Prepare treasury reports and reconcile intercompany accounts- Lead process optimization initiatives related to treasury functions, including consolidation of acquisitions and forecasting- Perform other related duties as requiredRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA designation considered an asset)- 8-10 years of relevant accounting and treasury experience (including client transactions, fund reconciliations, and cash flow management)- Proven supervisory experience in a treasury environment (essential)- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills- Proactive, autonomous, and motivated professional- Experience in process improvement and banking relationship managementWhy Join Our Client:- A stable, reputable organization committed to growth and innovation- Collaborative and supportive work environment- Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a newly created rolePlease send your resume in Word format to Milene Rizcalla at mrizcalla@quantum.ca.REFER A PERM HIRE AND EARN UP TO $1,000!
