We're looking for an experienced and detail-driven Accounting Manager - Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team and help oversee the financial operations that support our growing fleet and logistics operations. The Accounting Manager will play a key leadership role in managing daily accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, overseeing accounts payable / receivable, and supporting strategic financial planning.

Responsibilities :

• Supervise and manage daily accounting operations, including A / P, A / R, payroll, and general ledger activities.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, P&L reports, and other financial data.
• Manage cash flow, reconcile bank accounts, and oversee fuel card and expense tracking.
• Work with operations to ensure accurate revenue recognition and cost allocation (e.g., fuel, maintenance, driver settlements).
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including IFTA, fuel tax reporting, and DOT-related financial documentation.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes; and tax filings.
• Implement and monitor internal controls and financial policies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts in collaboration with senior management.
