Our client, a large energy provider, is looking to hire a Financial Analyst to their team for an initial 6 month contract with possibility to extend further. This role will be responsible for the preparation of the interim and annual Consolidated Financial Statements
Responsibilities Include :
- Responsible for the preparation of the interim and annual Consolidated Financial Statements
- Assist with the review of the quarterly and annual Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) and Supplemental Information.
- Review the accuracy and completeness of a variety of schedules to support the quarterly and annual financial documents.
- Partner with the numerous teams across the company to deliver accurate, transparent and insightful financial reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and implement process improvements.
- Ensure adequate internal controls over financial reporting are in place.
- Assist with the transition to Integrated Reporting.
Qualifications :
Must have CPA with minimum 3+ years of experience in Financial Reporting
Excellent knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and Continuous Disclosure requirements for a public companyExperience with Wdesk and an ERP system (SAP) is preferredInternal controls over financial reporting - strong understanding of internal control frameworkStrong computer skills including MicrosoftIf you are qualified and interested in discussing this role in more detail, please submit your resume to [email protected].
