S.i. Systems valued public sector client is currently seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to assist with a video conferencing modernization initiative for a large federal department.
The Senior Project Coordinator will be assisting with implementing Microsoft Certified Teams rooms (MTR) equipment for approximately + boardrooms across Canada.
Must Have :
- 5+ years of experience with MS Project scheduling
- 5+ years of experience with PMIS
- Experience dealing with procurement at the federal level
- Relevant post-secondary degree or diploma (minimum two years in length)
Nice to have :
Valid certification including but not limited to : PMP, CAPM, PgMP, PfMP, PMI-RMP, PMI-ACP, SMC, CSM, PMI-SP, Prince 2, PMI-ACP, PSM (I, II, or III)
Tasks Include :
- Assist project management and data processing professionals, technical users and end users in project coordination and synchronization tasks
- Provide administrative and technical support of a clerical nature as required to a project team
- Assist in performing such tasks as maintaining project documentation and application / system libraries, assist with costing workbooks
- Act as the first or single point of contact in a "hot-line" situation by accepting incoming calls, logging calls, attempting to resolve simple problems and following established procedures for more difficult problems
- Track project change requests, risk and issues
- Maintain and updates relevant project information in manual and / or electronic files; project information might include such things as project activity schedule, status reports, correspondence
- Use computer tools, aids, system control languages on PCs, minis, or mainframes to perform work
- Communicate with project management and data processing professionals, technical users and end users on administrative matters related to the project
