Mechanical Project Coordinator

As a Mechanical Project Coordinator, youll harness your organizational and problem-solving skills and leverage your expertise to play a pivotal role in driving projects forwards. You will provide essential support and coordination to project managers and teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure smooth project execution.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the General Manager and assisting the Project Team in developing construction documents, establishing project protocols, and ensuring proper communication and document control processes.
• Acting as a liaison with the Safety Representative to ensure compliance with safety protocols and proper documentation.
• Managing and maintaining project records, including RFIs, SIs, Change Orders (COs), and Shop Drawing logs using Procore Software
• Supporting project scheduling, risk management, and scope management efforts.
• Generating monthly progress billing and assisting with procurement activities, including sourcing materials and subcontractor quotes.
• Coordinating with the estimating team to prepare and submit bids and proposals.
• Ensuring all project communications and documents are issued per company protocols and providing training to Field Staff as needed.
• Preparing BIM layouts for field use and coordinating CAD layouts.
• Participating in site visits, capturing meeting minutes, and facilitating effective collaboration among teams.
