Our client is based in Toronto, ON, building some of the most impactful rail & transit projects across Canada. This is a perfect opportunity for senior level project controls professionals to work on major projects and grow within a large company.
The ideal candidate will have :
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- 8-10 years planning / scheduling experience in Rail & Transit industry, or a mix of Rail and other industry experience.
- Experience in the rail sector is required.
- In-depth knowledge of EVM principals.
- People management or supervisory experience is a strong asset.
- Strong proficiency in Planning and Scheduling software such as Primavera P6
Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring data integrity throughout the project life cycle.Prepare project status and progress reports for all project stakeholders.Forecast resource requirements based on work front analysis.Monitor and manage changes in project schedules, forecast impacts and suggest / implement corrective actions.Perform risk assessment and mitigation to ensure the timely delivery of planning and scheduling tasks.Conduct audits on project schedules generated by project teams and subcontractors.Measure project performance through the implementation of EVM plans.Contribute to the continuous improvement of project controls policies and guidelines.Oversee schedule integration processes and project change management.Support the proposal development and bidding processes of projects.Supervise, coach, and develop project controls personnel.Promote equity, diversity, and inclusion within the team.Ensure project compliance with company standards and contract requirements.
