Job description

12-month contract, hybrid in Halifax (potential for remote).

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Change Manager to join our clients' teams. The Change Manager will be responsible for leading and managing change initiatives within our healthcare organization. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of change projects, improving processes, and enhancing overall organizational performance.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance.
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.
  • Create and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for change initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication and training efforts to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of change initiatives, identifying and addressing any issues or risks.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align change initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and employees to help them adapt to changes.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of change initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in change management, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing change initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) is a plus.
  • Compensation : 50 / hr to $70 / hr.

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability, life insurance and AD&D.
