Job description

On behalf of Ignite Technical Resources , we are recruiting for a Fullstack Software Developer (.NET / Angular) for a 12-month contract opportunity. This role is ideal for an Intermediate Developer with a strong background in full-stack development using C# .NET and Angular.

Summary of the Role :

The successful candidate will join the Return to Work ART team to support the development of a new application, the Return to Work Planning Tool. This role requires expertise in full product lifecycle development, with a focus on backend and frontend components.

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain applications as part of an agile team.
  • Participate in DevOps lifecycle activities, including CI / CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with the team in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance, reliability, and stability issues.
  • Conduct code development, testing, and review using tools like Visual Studio.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers.
  • Participate in on-call production support on a regular rotation.

Core Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM field, or 3-6 years of equivalent work experience in IT.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in agile methodologies, cloud services, DevOps, CI / CD, and full product development lifecycle.
  • 3 years’ hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies including :
  • NET, C#, JavaScript, Angular 12+, SQL, HTML, CSS, JQuery.
  • XUnit / NUnit, Entity Framework, TDD, and Redis Cache.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor junior developers.
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification or willingness to obtain certification within 2 months of start.

    • Desired Skills & Experience :

  • Experience with Blazor.
  • Ability to work in both small team and medium enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of business value streams and system design.

    • Terms :

  • 12-month contract.
  • Hybrid work arrangement : Onsite once a month in Richmond.
  • Successful candidates must be willing to complete a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification within the first 2 months if not already certified.
