Job description

TreowGroup Recruitment, on behalf of our retail client located in St Catharines, is seeking a Marketing Manager.

About Our Client

Our client is a well-established Canadian retailer specializing in the sale of power tools, hand tools, fasteners and safety gear with a focus on supporting the construction industry.

Job Summary

We’re looking for a talented Marketing Manager with a strong background in graphic design. If you have a solid understanding of both print and digital marketing, enjoy building impactful campaigns, and thrive on crafting engaging social media content, this could be your next career move!

Your Day to Day will Include :

Marketing Management

  • Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Oversee all digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, email campaigns, e-commerce, and online advertising.
  • Collaborate with management to refine brand messaging and positioning.
  • Stay ahead of market trends and competitive activity, identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Analyze campaign metrics to refine strategies and maximize ROI.

Graphic Design & Content Creation

  • Design high-quality marketing materials, including brochures, banners, flyers, and digital signage, using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Create compelling copy and digital content for various platforms.
  • Develop assets for email marketing and social media campaigns.

    • Social Media Management & Email Marketing

  • Plan and execute a content calendar for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Create and schedule engaging posts, including graphics, videos, and product highlights.
  • Distribute monthly flyers and other email campaigns via Mailchimp.
  • Analyze social media and email marketing performance, adapting strategies as needed.

    • Website & Online Store Management

  • Lead website content development using WordPress, optimizing for SEO and user experience.
  • Maintain products in the online store by updating visuals and descriptions.
  • Collaborate with sales and purchasing teams to ensure accurate product listings.

    • Experience & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a senior marketing role, with expertise in digital marketing (SEO, email marketing, e-commerce, advertising).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and marketing financials.
  • Experience in the hardware / power tool industry is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
