We commit to supporting you throughout your job search and at every stage of your career.Your RoleI am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a food manufacturing company located in Laval, for an HSE Prevention Specialist.Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include : Developing and implementing workplace health and safety programs for the manufacturing siteIdentifying, analyzing, and assessing potential health and safety risks and hazardsDesigning and organizing safety training for employees on HSE standardsUpdating emergency procedures and response protocolsEnsuring the factory's activities comply with local and international safety regulationsInvestigating workplace incidents to determine causes and suggest corrective measuresTracking HSE performance indicators and preparing reports for managementCollaborating with various departments to promote a proactive safety cultureYour SkillsStrong observational skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and training skillsProblem-solving and analytical abilitiesAbility to work independently and stay organizedWe are looking for a committed professional with strong analytical skills and good judgment to help maintain a safe and compliant work environment.Your ProfileUniversity degree or DEC in Industrial Hygiene, Health & Safety, or an equivalent fieldMinimum of 2 years of experience in HSE prevention in the manufacturing sector, ideally in food processingFamiliarity with CNESST standards, WHMIS, and other HSE standardsBilingual French / EnglishConditionsPermanent position, 35 hours / week - Day shiftAnnual gross salary : 70K to 85K, depending on experienceBenefits : Pension plan, comprehensive group insurance
