Education : Electrician or Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) 433AHealth & Safety Awareness and WHIMIS TrainingFirst Aid / CPR TrainingExperience : Minimum 5 years’ experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably from a corrugated, packaging, textile or paper industryMinimum 3 years supervisory experience including scheduling work assignments in a unionized environment1-2 years working in an order-based manufacturing environmentKey Responsibilities : Working hands-on, lead and support the Maintenance team to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all equipmentSupport in establishing, maintaining and improving the maintenance planning and scheduling processScope the full extent of maintenance work needed to conduct the relevant repair / preventative / predictive / design-out activities on plant equipmentDevelop cost and time estimates of planned maintenance workAssist with developing applicable maintenance procedures that promote defect-free maintenance work qualityResponsible for up-keep and accuracy of equipment maintenance history and job records databasePlan larger repairs and organize crew and all necessary items needed to perform and complete assigned work. Organize outside contractors as required.Participation on behalf of management in Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings and initiatives as needed.Coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions, constraints and pressure.Demonstrate professionalism and maintain composure under pressure in a constantly changing environmentRead precision measurement equipment and implement any corrective measures.
