Your opportunity

Dillon’s Transportation Infrastructure Design group is looking for a Transportation Designer / Technologist to join our multidisciplinary team of professionals. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of transportation projects for provincial (MTO) and Ontario municipalities including environmental assessments, preliminary and detailed design of highway infrastructure, interchanges and intersections.

At Dillon, we operate as one team nationally, however, this position will be based out of our London or Kingston office.

Responsibilities

What your day will look like

Technical Project Work

• Complete preliminary and detailed designs for freeways, urban and rural multilane and two-lane facilities, interchanges, and intersections for MTO and local municipalities
• Prepare technical reports, design drawings, design quantities, and contract documents
• Interact with clients, approval agencies, utility companies, contractors and other stakeholders, as required
• Provide support and oversight of junior staff working on transportation projects
• Interact regularly with project team members including engineers, planners, environmental scientists, engineering technologists and various support staff
