Job Overview

HydroCam is seeking a skilled and organized Site Supervisor & Dispatch to oversee CCTV video inspection and flushing operations. This crucial role ensures that all site activities are conducted efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will coordinate job schedules, manage crews, and collaborate with shop teams to maintain seamless operations and ensure excellent client satisfaction.

Experience with CCTV video inspection in the hydro excavation field is essential, as this technology is used to monitor the condition of sewer pipes through a robotic camera. CCTV inspections help identify blockages, deterioration, and structural or operational defects, while eliminating the need for costly exploratory digging. The successful candidate will be familiar with industry standards such as WRC, CAPC, NASSCO, and CERIU, which are key for evaluating and maintaining high-quality inspection and maintenance practices.

Position Summary

We are looking for an organized and experienced Site Supervisor who can effectively manage operations at job sites. You will ensure that tasks are completed on time, quality standards are met, and safety protocols are followed. Responsible for dispatching trucks, you will coordinate with the dispatch team to ensure smooth operations and that vehicles are scheduled appropriately

Responsibilities

Site Supervision & Operations Management

Oversee on-site activities for CCTV and flushing operations, ensuring safety, efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
Supervise crews to ensure proper execution of loading, unloading and job completion processes.
Address on-site issues promptly to minimize disruptions and maintain project timelines.

2. Dispatch & Coordination

Dispatch team to ensure timely scheduling and deployment of CCTV and combo trucks.

Manage work orders (WOs) and ensure that all required resources are available for job execution.

Coordinate with subcontractors as needed to support project timelines.

3. Planning & Collaboration

Develop and review project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure efficient execution.

Partner with the shop manager to ensure equipment maintenance and readiness.

Communicate with other divisions to ensure smooth collaboration on shared projects.

4. Customer Relations & Quality Assurance

Maintain open communication with clients to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.

Monitor job quality and resolve discrepancies to uphold HydroCam’s high standards.

Qualifications and Skills

Proven expertise in overseeing site operations, with a focus on CCTV inspections, flushing, and related services.

In-depth knowledge of CCTV crawlers, lateral launchers, and other inspection equipment is highly desirable.

Certifications in Confined Space Entry, along with PACP, MACP, LACP (NASSCO), and CERIU, are considered valuable assets.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and teams efficiently.

Proficient in coordinating with team members to ensure seamless and effective operations. Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, emphasizing safety, productivity, and quality assurance.

Bilingual proficiency in French and English is preferred.
