About the role
As an experienced fundraiser, you are an expert at crafting the most suitable “Pitch” for pursuing investment capital. As the investment lead, you will guide operational and strategic facets of our business development to support staged capital investment acquisition programs. You will be responsible for coordinating each funding round, identifying and recruiting investors, presenting opportunities, negotiating terms, and closing deals.
Responsibilities
- Organise and participate in strategy and planning meetings with the fundraising team.
- Effectively convey the organization’s mission, vision, and programs to potential investors.
- Write internal reports and analyze fundraising progress monthly.
- Research prospects and build relationships with potential investors.
- Refine the pitch deck, business plans, and marketing strategy.
- Strategise and execute successful fundraising campaigns.
- Update investors on utilisation of their capital.
Key Duties
Secure funding across stages, phases, and scales as guided by operations management.Recommend investment terms to the Board, supporting valuation and education on investment processes.Provide guidance and support for additional capital as the company grows, including introductions and strategic advice.Leverage industry expertise to offer insights and access to gaming industry connections.Mitigate risk via due diligence on the company and its business model.Pitch a bank‑ready business plan and close additional investors.Milestones
Close Stage 3 Rounds 1 and 2 (as defined by our Term Sheet).Secure revolving production budgets for ongoing development.Required Skills and Qualifications
At least three years of experience in fundraising, sales, or marketing.A passion for research and discovery.Highly‑motivated individual with strong communication, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution skills.Strong financial, investment, and analytical skills and problem‑solving abilities.Excellent numerical skills and ability to work to budget and deliver financial targets.Proven track record of raising millions of private funding for software, gaming, or alternative investment technology companies.Experience in sales or marketing is advantageous.Preferred Skills
Experience in communications, business, or public relations.Experience raising and / or investing in technology and / or video games.Owner of a large list of wealthy individuals.Confidence in public speaking and pitching.Avid study of books such as “Pitch Anything” by Oren Klaff.Funding Options
