Our Public Sector client has an immediate need for three (3) Full Time Scrum Masters
Location : The role will be 100% remote while COVID-19 travel / social distancing restrictions are in place. Once those restrictions are lifted, onsite requirements will be reassessed at that time.
Term : August 3, 2021, to August 31, 2022, with possible extension
Experience & skills required :
- in-depth knowledge of Agile principles, Scrum frameworks and techniques as well as the ability to mentor others in their application of Agile and scrum
- apply knowledge to develop new tools and processes
- utilize corporate objectives and priorities to ensure teams are working on the right piece of work
- application of knowledge to analyze and resolve a wide range of impediments that are strategic, organizational or technical in nature
- understand the technical environment (understanding of the release processes would be an asset)
- a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or other applicable degree
- five to eight years of business experience
- PMI-ACP certification and / or Scrum Master certification would be an asset
- current or previous Scrum Master experience is an asset
- or an equivalent combination of education and experience
What you’ll do :
- Scrum Master for 2-3 teams
- Remove impediments for the Team and the Product Owner
- Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies
- Reinforcing Scrum practices
- Process Management and Improvement champion on-going process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile and Scrum Master role.
- Team Building Ensuring a good working relationship between team members, promote empowerment of the team, ensuring that each team member is fully engaged in their work and in the project.
