Job description

Do you have experience in full cycle recruitment? If so, this role may be for you. One of our clients in the financial industry is looking for a senior recruiter who will manage the full life cycle

recruitment journey. The ideal candidate will have a diversified recruitment background within an

agency and / or a corporate environment. They will have a proven track record in delivering

recruitment services, advice and managing relationships and interfaces with Senior Managers,

Directors and Vice Presidents. They will source, screen and assess talent in order to provide counsel

and recommendations to hiring managers on best fit. The Senior Recruiter will develop a solid

understanding of their assigned businesses and build strong relationships with their hiring manager,

HR partners as well as other centres of expertise.

Responsibilities

Conduct a thorough intake conversation with hiring manager detailing the position needs,

scope and clarifying joint roles and expectations.

Embed diversity conversations in all recruitment and sourcing activities.

Acts as Subject Matter Expert for managers throughout the recruitment process.

Manage the recruitment process including document and tracking all pertinent information

using Applicant Tracking System, (TalentLink).

Build and maintain an active pipeline of candidates for recurring and hard-to-fill roles through

appropriate and targeted sourcing.

Conduct preliminary interviews with selected candidates to further validate skills, experience

and knowledge in relation to position requirements using behavioral-based interview

techniques. Conduct face to face interviews as requested by the business. Manage the front

to back process for every hire.

Develop and maintain working relationships with HR Partners and Hiring Managers within

the business areas to provide assistance with recruiting needs, job vacancy specifications,

and to make recommendations on optimum sourcing channels.

Based on networking and research, provide good quality market intelligence to business

regarding the recruitment market, and build a pipeline / database of future talent. Proactively

seek out live market benchmark intelligence in relation to compensation.

Qualifications

Must Have

College degree

5+ years full life-cycle recruitment experience.

Strong full life-cycle recruitment experience; financial services industry preferred; preferred

candidates will have corporate and recruitment agency experience.

Must have strong sourcing, networking, and lead generation skills to locate candidates with

difficult to find skill sets in local and other markets.

Excellent relationship building skills and proven ability to provide value added consultative

service.

Strong client service orientation.

Results oriented, multi-tasking and strong sense of urgency.

Strong telephone and presentation skills.

Experience working with e-Recruitment tools and behavioral based Interviews.

Experience providing consultative recruitment support in a coaching and advisory capacity to

all levels of management.

Fully bilingual (both English and French)
