Aquatics Coordinator

The Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake is seeking an experienced, motivated, and safety-focused Aquatics Coordinator to support the effective operation and supervision of all outdoor aquatic facilities. Reporting to the Recreation Program Specialist, this leadership role is responsible for staff supervision, program delivery, facility operations, and ensuring safe, inclusive, and high‑quality aquatic experiences for the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation and supervision of all town outdoor aquatic facilities, ensuring safe, inclusive, and high‑quality service delivery.
• Lead, schedule, train, and support aquatic staff, including recruitment assistance, performance management, and evaluations.
• Coordinate aquatic programming, instructional services, and league participation, providing operational and on‑deck support as required.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards, legislation, and town policies, including facility inspections and incident management.
• Manage administrative and financial functions, including scheduling, registrations, point‑of‑sale, reporting, and record keeping using ACTIVENet.
• Act as the primary liaison for participants, families, staff, and external partners.
