AECOM  is seeking a BIM Specialist to support our Canada Region within the Water Business Line and be based out Burnaby BC.

As a member of the Canada Region digital team, you will work with professionals in the Water Business line across Ontario and with other business lines in the geography and around the world to advance AECOM’s global digital strategies and projects.

The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate a positive can-do attitude, is customer focused, a critical thinker and problem solver and ready to apply their knowledge and skill sets to establish a rewarding, long-term career utilizing principles and methods for AEC Design and Digital Consulting projects.

As a BIM Specialist for the Water Business Line, you will be a champion for :

• Assists with creating and modifying 3D models, drawings, renderings and / or animations for promotion and proposals.
• Office-based work with various departments to integrate imagery into presentations using existing software.
• May help to create or maintain standards, processes and goals.
• Work is closely supervised.

Assessing the current BIM state and maturity of digital and design on projects :

Direct project support and production to assigned projects and create the drawings as required using the standards and content to meet the job requirements.

Work with linear and vertical design teams to develop BIM standards and specifications.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s degree or engineering technologist diploma and 4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education.

Critical thinking to identify issues, present solutions and follow through to ensure completion.

Minimum requirement of working 4 year under ISO 19650 standards.

Preferred requirements :

Experience in design water or wastewater plant design or piping designs in general.

Executing multi discipline design projects within BIM360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Extensive experience 8 years with Revit, Civil3D and or Plant3D.

Experience working 8 years according to ISO 19650 standard.

Experience training and mentoring staff.
