Key Accountabilities

We are looking for an enthusiastic Family Physician who is interested in moving or starting their new practice in this highly desirable location in Mississauga, alongside two already established full time Family Physicians. Located near the Hospital in a highly accessible neighbourhood, with the ability to attract new patients easily. There is a robust patient waiting list!

Supervision is also provided if needed.

The Health Centre is a beautiful, newly constructed clinic with Pharmacy, Optometrist, Physiotherapy and Cardiac Imaging partners on site. We use OSCAR Pro EMR. Clinic currently open Monday to Friday, with the option to expand to include evenings and weekends. Experienced professional staff to take care of all administrative work. Fee for Service with competitive Split.

The clinic is located centrally in the City of Mississauga, the largest adjacent city to Toronto, part of the greater Toronto Area (GTA). Nearby there are several excellent public and private schools and communities.

Mississauga is a very multicultural city with patients from different backgrounds. There are many patients in the area and surrounding metropolitan areas without access to enough Family Physician care.

  • Provide pre-natal and post-natal care
  • Advise patients and their families on health care including health promotion, disease, illness and accident prevention
  • Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
  • Perform patient advocacy role
  • Co-ordinate or manage primary patient care
