Job Title : Quality Lab Technician (Day & Afternoon Shifts)

Location : Peel Region, ON

Job Type : Temporary to Permanent

Our client is currently seeking Quality Lab Technicians.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Execute laboratory testing and verification activities to support product quality and compliance

Conduct assessments on incoming materials, in-process items, and finished products

Assemble and prepare samples in accordance with defined laboratory procedures

Draft, revise, and maintain laboratory documentation, including procedures and work guides

Train and assist quality personnel and production inspectors as required

Utilize precision measurement and testing equipment to validate product specifications

Perform measurement accuracy studies to ensure reliability of inspection results

Record, interpret, and trend testing data using Excel and statistical analysis tools

Generate technical reports and certification documentation

Maintain laboratory instruments, calibration status, and supply inventory

Provide ongoing support to quality assurance and manufacturing teams

Health, Safety & Compliance :

Follow and promote all workplace safety practices and regulatory requirements

Contribute to a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment

Qualifications :

Diploma in Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on quality experience

Strong communication and documentation skills

Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based manufacturing setting

Working knowledge of measurement systems (Metric and Imperial)

Proficient with Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills preferred

Experience with statistical software (, Minitab) or ERP systems (SAP) is an asset

Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, S, Six Sigma) considered an advantage

Physically capable of performing hands-on testing tasks, including lifting and use of powered tools
